Bareboat Yacht Charter

Are you looking for mini golf, go carts and t-shirt shops?  You've come to the wrong place!  Nothing like that here!  But if you are looking for information regarding the sail boat Fat Bottom Girl - you have come to the right place.

 

Fat Bottom Girl is a 2021 Dufour 530 available for bareboat charter in the BVI - the best sailing grounds on the planet.  She is located in Road Town on Tortola, BVI.  Fat Bottom Girl is managed by BVI Yacht Charters (BVIYC) - a mid sized charter management company that takes great care of both boats and guests.

BVIYC's website gives you some information regarding the boat.  But BVIYC has a fleet of charter boats.  I only have one.  So chances are that I will have a whole lot more information than what you can find on the BVIYC web site.  In addition, I'll be happy to answer any question you might have as well as take any feedback you might have pre or post charter to make the experience better.  Keep in mind that I do not manage the boat directly.  But I do have contact information to the operational staff - I will be happy to find someone to fix/help/clarify if warranted.  I can also help you through the charter process if you desire.

 

When my wife and I started chartering boats a few years ago we were always a bit disappointed by the lack of information.  I wasn't interested in a generic picture of a sail boat - I wanted to know what the boat I was chartering looked like and how it was configured and equipped.  Did it have a way to plug in my music?  How big is the fridge?  Did it have lighting in the cockpit or did I need to bring my own light?  Etc. etc.  Most of the time these questions went unanswered and it was either a pleasant surprise or a "I wish I would have known..." moment when we stepped aboard the boat we had chartered many months in advance.  If you have ever had this experience I hope this web site will clear things up for you and show you everything you ever wanted to know about bareboat yacht charter aboard Fat Bottom Girl.  And more.
